Gavalohori nestles in a cypress covered valley in the heart of Apokoronas with beautiful views across unspoiled Apokoranas countryside and extensive and spectacular views of the White Mountains. It is extremely well located for Almerida (5 mins drive) with its justifiably famous beach and tavernas. Kalives is also nearby (10 mins drive) with both excellent beaches and shopping facilities. Chania is about 25 mins drive and the airport 35 mins drive through Souda - the famous bay.
